Academic Writing Studio

Establishing a Writing Practice (Recording)

Image Your Academic Writing PracticeThis class is based on principles outlined by Robert Fritz in The Path of Least Resistance as I learned them through classes I took with Jennifer Hofmann through The Creative Haven (no longer in existence). Your goal is not to find the magic set of strategies that work no matter what you are writing or what else is going on in your life. That is just not possible. (Sorry. It would be lovely.) Your practice will need to change as you grow as a writer and as your context changes. The cycle of the academic year may affect your practice. The cycle of your career may affect your practice. The cycle of your life may affect your practice. Sometimes things that used to work well just stop working for reasons you cannot determine.

I offer this class to non-members periodically. Information and registration form can be found here: Establishing A Writing Practice.

If you are a member of the Studio, a recorded version of this class is always available. Log in to access all the resources. To join the studio please return to the main home page.
